News from the Beth Am Israel Awareness Committee
Next Oneg Israel is in March

The Israel Awareness Committee welcomes you to our next "armchair trip" to Israel. Come with your family to the Social Hall after the service, help yourself to a delicious Israeli-style supper, and enjoy a wonderful cultural program.
This month’s Oneg Israel will feature two episodes from the Israeli TV series Srugim. Srugim (which means "knitted" in Hebrew) is an Israeli television drama, a true-to-life, nuanced portrayal of young adults in the Modern Orthodox community. The show, described as "A Modern Orthodox Friends," revolves around a group of single young men and women in Jerusalem as they deal with career challenges while searching for love. Blending comedy and drama, the series explores the struggles experienced by characters seeking to stay true to their religious observance while trying to date and make a living.
RSVP no later than February 27 to Judith Rabbie.
This program is free of charge, but your contribution to the dinner is very much appreciated. Please send your donation to Congregation Beth Am with a note "for Oneg Israel."
