Send Your Child to Jewish Summer Camp

The Experience of a Lifetime
Jewish summer camp is an important part of our Jewish lives. Research indicates that attending a Jewish summer camp is a key factor in the creation of a Jewish identity. We are fortunate to be located near several outstanding Jewish camps. We hope you will consider sending your child(ren) to one of these camps.

URJ Camp Newman-Swig is a Reform Movement camp located in beautiful Santa Rosa. Their mission is to inspire campers and staff to take camp home and apply their Jewish learning to their daily lives, ultimately bettering themselves, their communities and the world. The camp combines summer fun with Jewish learning. URJ Camp Newman offers a variety of programs and sessions for campers, ages 7 - 18. For more information, check out their website or contact the camp office at (415) 392-7080 x11.

Camp Tawonga, located in the Sierra Mountains, is a Jewish camp that focuses on building frienships and creating a welcoming Jewish community that builds self-esteem and self reliance. Camp Tawonga offers a variety of sessions and different program options for campers age 7 - 18. For more information, check out their website at or contact the office at (415) 543-2267.
