Beth Am Women Monthly Groups
Beth Am Women offers a range of regular activities that provide an opportunity to connect with other women at Beth Am in a variety of informal settings. Some groups meet once a month; others meet less frequently. Please view the Beth Am Women Calendar for meeting/event information.
Whether you’re feeling lucky or are a master with the tiles, join the fun as Beth Am Women play Mah Jongg on the last Wednesday evening
of each month in the Beth Am Conference Room. New players are welcome, and we offer learning sessions. To get on the Evite list, email Carol
Beth Am Women Book Group:
The group selects a book to read each month and meets in private homes, typically with both a 1:30 PM
afternoon and 7:30 PM
evening meeting on the first Wednesday
of each month. See a list of 2016-17 meeting dates, book titles and authors
. RSVP is required at least two days before the events. For general information about the group, email Barbara
Join with other quilters, knitters, crochet mavens and crafters to make gifts of comfort and warmth for infirm congregants and new babies in the congregation. All levels of experience welcome. Participants can choose from our large selection of new yarn and fabric. We meet the 3rd Thursday
of each month at 7:00 PM
in Beth Am in Room Aleph. For more information, email Leah
Join us for our very own cooking school with guest chefs recruited from Congregation Beth Am. This group meets approximately every two months. We exchange favorite recipes, participate in cooking demonstrations and best of all, relish our treats together as community. For more information, email Susan
Sunday Morning Walkers: Drop off your kids and walk with other Sunday School parents. Leave your car at the Beth Am parking lot and hit the local trails for a fun community walk. We meet at the bottom of the hill by the main parking lot (where buses pick up and drop off). All are welcome, and we leave at 9:10 AM. Walkers meet on Sunday Program dates.
All women are welcome to join for a series of relaxing and inspirational sessions of yoga. No experience is necessary. For more information, email Ellen
