Agam Sculpture Donated to Beth Am

This wonderful work of art was donated by local art collectors and friends of Beth Am and dedicated at Chanukah. Don't be surprised if it looks a little different every time you stop by, as the middle and top sections are movable. Yaacov Agam is an Israeli sculptor and experimental artist best known for his kinetic art and public outdoor installations such as the "Fire and Water" fountain in Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv and, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest menorah in the world at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 59th Street in New York City. We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome our new sculpture to Beth Am, and hope our members will enjoy it for years to come.
