Volunteer Opportunities

1. One to One Tutor: Be a conversational English tutor for a newly-arrived family from the Former Soviet Union: a weekly conversation; no Russian required – just a patience and kind nature!
2. Group Tutor: Assist a group of senior émigrés with their conversational English. Meet weekly for one hour with your small group at their community room of the senior residence.
3. Family Match: enjoy an informal social match with an émigré family of similar configuration.
4. Holiday Match: Invite an émigré family to join yours for a Jewish holiday celebration.
5. Chug Shalom assistant: help occasionally with an event such as Chanukah Party or Passover Seder sponsored by our Program.
