Please join the Beth Am community for our annual adult Purim extravaganza! As we celebrate the triumph of the courageous Esther over the wicked Haman (boo!), we'll have the opportunity to fulfill all of the mitzvot associated with the holiday. Costumes strongly encouraged.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Please note: The virtual Purim festivities will be livestreamed on the Beth Am livestream page ONLY (not on Facebook or YouTube), and will not be available for viewing later, so be sure to tune in at 7:00 PM!
- 6:30 PM: Doors (and bar) are open. Shmooze time.
- 7:00 PM: Megillah reading and songs (also available via livestream)
- 7:30 PM: Adults-Only Shpiel (also available via livestream)
Suggested donation: $20 per person. Pay in advance below; or at the door (cash or checks welcome) or charge to ShulCloud at the event. (All donations will support Beth Am's teen programming.)
Purim Tzedakah Project: One of the mitzvot of Purim is giving matanot la’evyonim (gifts to the poor). This year, instead of bringing your grogger (noise maker) to Beth Am on Purim, please bring an unopened box of pasta or mac and cheese. After the Purim shpiel, we'll collect the boxes and donate them to the JFCS food pantry.
