Poltava Event: French Cooking (and Eating)

With Beth Am Congregant Joanne Donsky
March 17, Cooking Demonstration at 4:30 p.m.; Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Before she "retired", Joanne Donsky taught at Epicures Cooking School in San Francisco and Louise's Pantry in Menlo Park. She and her husband Stuart are passionate about fine food and dining. Joanne co-authored La Crème de la Crème: A Guide to the Very Best Restaurants in France, covering all of the Michelin three-star restaurants in France.

Come early to watch Joanne cooking in her kitchen as she prepares a luscious alternative menu for Passover, which will include salmon and an amazingly delicious flourless chocolate cake. Or, join us a bit later to enjoy a three-course meal with wine. Come get some pre-Passover ideas - recipes included!

To sign up by March 10, please send your check for $54 (made payable to Congregation Beth Am and with "Poltava Party: French Cooking" in the memo line) to Judy Sack, 410 Pine Wood Lane, Los Gatos, CA 95032.

Poltava events are fun, social gatherings during which attendees meet new people and connect with Beth Am members in special settings - members' homes! By attending Poltava events, you will have a unique experience in addition to performing a great mitzvah in helping an emerging progressive congregation in the Former Soviet Union (Congregation Beth Am, Poltava). Seating is limited so sign up early.
