Pursue Justice Project
Pursue Justice Project
The Pursue Justice Project encourages all Beth Am members to learn about and become involved in the civic engagement and social justice issues that affect our congregation, our community, our state and our nation, and to take action to create change where change is warranted. The Pursue Justice Project runs the annual non-partisan "Pursue Justice -- Vote!" voter registration drive at Beth Am, along with educational forums representing a diversity of viewpoints on such topics as health care reform and the death penalty. In addition, we encourage coalition building with other groups interested in civic engagement and social justice. Groups we have worked with over the past few years include the League of Women Voters and Peninsula Interfaith Action (PIA).
