Avodah! Jewish Service Learning

Avodah! meets weekly on select Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings during the school year. Beth Am teens (8th - 9th grades) learn about Jewish values and then put them into action by engaging in Jewish service learning. Designed to fit the busy schedule of students and provide an experiential learning opportunity, Avodah! will meet once a month. Each meeting will include Jewish learning, a service project, and refection.

The program year culminates in a service trip which will enhance the understanding of key issues as well as provide an excellent opportunity for group bonding.

Note: Participants are strongly encouraged to attend Beth Am Temple Youth (BATY) and Beth Am Junior Youth (BAJY) events. Avodah! participants will enjoy discounts and benefits of membership without paying additional fees to participate in these events.
