Israel Together meets monthly during the school year, before and after the trip. Travel to Israel has a strong impact on Jewish identity, and, for children, has been shown to a significant factor in ensuring future participation in Jewish life. Therefore, Beth Am is piloting an intensive, hands-on educational experience about Israel for the whole family.

The program includes:
· A 12-day family trip to Israel, December 18-29, 2011 led by Beth Am clergy
· Trip itinerary - is family-friendly and provides differentiated instruction for children of different ages
· Intensive monthly educational programs with Beth Am staff before and after the trip
· Social gatherings before and after the trip to encourage community-building.

All ages may participate, though the minimum recommended age is 6. At least 25 trip participants are needed to be able to run the program. Extended family members are welcome!
