Retreats

Retreat weekends away from home are mini-camp experiences that are cherished for years to come. Beth Am students, upon returning from these retreats, are happy, have made new friends, and have renewed love and appreciation for their Jewish identity. (If your child attends a Jewish day school, please contact the education office to register for retreats.)

Beth Am offers three youth retreat opportunities this year:

Fall Kallah, 4th - 5th grade Retreat
November 2 - 4, 2012

We are pleased to continue our partnership with URJ Camp Newman for our retreats. We will join forces with the larger Camp Newman community, and have a great time together as a Beth Am community!

West Coast Party Jr. - 6th - 8th Grades
January 18 - 21, 2013

Spend Shabbat in beautiful Costanoa on the coast with your Beth Am friends. We’ll make Shabbat dinner over a campfire and spend time relaxing at the beach. If your idea of fun is relaxing and hanging out with friends then this retreat is for you.
