SATURDAY, April 19, 5:30 p.m., Social Hall
This year, we will again read the story of the Exodus, enjoy a Passover skit prepared by kids
and their parents, sing traditional songs, play games and enjoy great food. Children and their
parents will have a great time at this family-friendly seder for the Russian-speaking community.

BETH AM COMMUNITY SEDER
Second Night of Passover with Rabbi Josh Zweiback
SUNDAY, April 20, 6:00–9:30 p.m., Social Hall
Beth Am’s community Seder, led by Rabbi Josh Zweiback, will be on the second night of
Passover, Sunday, April 20. We will enjoy a delicious multi-course dinner without having to cook, clean
up, or remember where you hid the afikomen.
Sometimes called the Festival of Freedom, Passover celebrates the Israelites’ deliverance from
Egypt’s bondage over 3200 years ago. Each year at this time, Jews all over the world gather with
family, friends, and even strangers, to honor and remember our enslaved ancestors, and rejoice
in the freedom we enjoy today.
BETH AM WOMEN 15TH ANNUAL DESSERT SEDER
Memories of Our Mothers
THURSDAY, April 24, 6 p.m., Social Hall
Join Beth Am Women and our clergy at a potluck dessert Seder as we re-live the lives and
history of our foremothers, sharing the experience with mothers, daughters, sisters and girlfriends
to create new memories. Each year our seder has a new flavor, a new feeling. This year participants will have a chance to get in touch with their own memories of the matriarchs long passed who influenced them. Hear the familiar tunes, chant the ageless prayers, dance until your feet give out and enjoy a special evening. Information and RSVP: email Leslie Braun.
