Welcome to Confirmation!
This year our class will explore how to live a life of joy and meaning in today’s complicated world. Enriched by Jewish tradition and supported by a strong community, we’ll engage in active learning, including text study, debate and discussion, guest speakers, drama, music and film.
Here are some of the issues we’ll examine through a Jewish lens:
- Building and strengthening friendships; communication skills
- Healthy and abusive relationships
- Healthy sexuality
- Addictive behaviors; managing stress and life challenges in positive ways
- Difficult personal choices, including abortion
- Finding a positive connection to Israel
- Exploring personal spirituality
