Faith and Feminism: Status of Women According to My Faith

Sponsored by Ahmadiyya Muslim Women of Silicon Valley

To celebrate International Women's Day, Beth Am Women is invited to an interfaith panel discussion sponsored by Ahmadiyya Muslim Women of Silicon Valley, our friends who attended an interfaith dialogue on Rosh Chodesh last year.

Current events beg a discussion on how faith protects the rights of women and gives them their rightful status in the society and protects them from exploitation. This will be an interfaith and multi-generational discussion so bring your daughters and your mothers. We will hear from a panel of speakers who will share from their scripture and practices and then hear from the participants on the status that they perceive their faith accords them.

For those who are interested in attending, please email Lisa  or call (877) 321-7925 and we can try to arrange carpooling.

Refreshments will be served. Please register online.
