The Pianist of Willesden Lane

Based on the book "The Children of Willesden Lane" by Mona Golabek and Lee Cohen

Come join Beth Am Women to see Theatreworks' production of The Pianist of Willesden Lane. This one-woman show, based on a true story, focuses on a young Jewish girl's life and her escape from Vienna to London at the start of WWII. "Concert pianist Mona Golabek recounts her mother's poignant saga of hope and resilience, underscored with extraordinary music". The show is 90 minutes long and will be followed by a discussion with the pianist/actress. We have a group of 20 tickets in the balcony at $25 each.

The show is at the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, January 22. For those who would like to have dinner together before the show, we will meet up at a casual restaurant within walking distance of the theater.

Please sign up online by Monday, January 6. Details for where to send payment will be sent after you have signed up online for the event. Questions? E-mail Judy.
