The Family Israel Trip Gets Bigger and Better

Join Cantor Jaime Shpall and Marcel Bergmann

What’s better than ten days in Israel with other Beth Am families? How about ten days in Israel, preceded by a ten-month comprehensive family education program about Israel to enrich our journey and bring us closer together as a group! We are pleased to announce Beth Am’s newest education program, tailored to families who will be joining the Family Israel Trip in 2020. Cantor Jaime and Marcel have gathered a great bunch of teachers, including several of our rabbis, educators and congregants, to lead monthly classes which will introduce kids and parents to the history, culture and current events of Israel. Through stories, songs, lectures, and of course food, we will prepare ourselves for a better understanding and deeper appreciation of the things we will see and do during the trip to Israel.

Israel Trip Travel Dates: June 24-July 5, 2020
Learn more about the summer 2020 trip itinerary and registration details. Or, check out the tour provider's beautiful online Flipbook brochure!

While we hope everyone who signs up for the trip will also sign up for the monthly classes, it is not a requirement. Those who do sign up for the program can do so in addition to the regular Judaica instruction (Sunday Program, Camp Beth Am, etc.), or in place of that requirement.

Classes meet on Saturday afternoons. See below for a complete list of monthly class dates and curriculum. Our first meeting on October 26 is open to all families who are interested in learning more about the program and the family trip, not just those who have already signed up. Please register online.
