Poltava Shabbat Dinner
The dinner menu will feature:
After our Friday evening Shabbat service with Rabbi Jessica Kirschner, Stanford Hillel Executive Director, enjoy a delicious community dinner prepared by the Poltava Committee. Rabbi Kirschner will answer questions regarding what Hillel is learning about the Jewish future through working with Gen Z.
- stuffed cabbage (veggie or plain meatballs in sauce)
- Fred's challah
- assorted desserts
All proceeds from the dinner will support our award-winning sister synagogue in Ukraine, Congregation Beth Am of Poltava, as well as the World Union for Progressive Judaism rabbinic studies program in Moscow. Dinner reservations and payment are required by Tuesday, October 19. Dinner cost is $30. Dinner registration is now closed.
