Sh'ma Groups Fall Rollout
Sh'ma Groups are peer-led community groups in which 8-15 people meet regularly to build relationships, deepen connections and grow Jewishly together through meaningful, structured conversations in members’ homes. This fall, we are offering a number of opportunities to get involved in Sh’ma Groups:
- Elul Sh'ma Groups: A three-session Sh’ma Group, focused on spiritually preparing for the High Holy Days, this group will meet on Sunday afternoons, September 8, 15, and 22 from 1:30-2:30 PM. If you’d like to sign up to participate in Elul Sh’ma Groups, please contact Rabbi Heath Watenmaker, (650) 493-4661.
- New Sh'ma Groups! Beginning in September, we'll be forming new Sh'ma Groups built around shared interests, demographics or location. If you'd like to start a new group, become a Guide (a group leader), or participate in a group, please complete the Sh'ma Groups Interest Form etc. Don't miss this chance to build deeper connections at Beth Am! If you'd like to participate in an Elul Sh'ma Group, please complete the Sh'ma Groups Interest Form or email firstname.lastname@example.org. It's easy and fun -- all you need is an idea and a desire to meet new people!
