Canceled - Love Shouldn’t Hurt
Please note - this program has been canceled.
“Love Shouldn’t Hurt” is a teen curriculum based on an interactive model, which encourages teens to examine their standards for friendships and future relationships through a framework of Jewish values.
The workshop provides students with a variety of resources should they or their friends encounter abuse in their lives. The workshop is intended to strengthen the participants’ self-esteem, and give them critical opportunities to become positive role models and respectful relationship partners. By approaching this issue from a Jewish perspective, we can encourage young people to think about what Judaism has to say about friendships, communication and respect.
The Healthy Relationships Workshop is for middle school (6-8th grade) and high school (9-12th grade) students. For more information, please contact Vicki Streeter, Molly Roston or call (650) 493-4665.
