Beth Am's 64th Annual Congregational Meeting and Dinner

Pay Tribute to Outgoing Beth Am President Bruce Ives

Don't miss this opportunity to pay tribute to our wonderful outgoing president, Bruce Ives, and welcome incoming president Andy Cheng. We will also hear our annual Treasurer’s Report from Jay Hirsh, honor outgoing board members, and vote in new and returning board members. Andy Cheng and his family are featured in the photo exhibit we are launching that day in the Beit Kehillah, entitled This Is Bay Area Jewry. Come early to check it out!

Following the meeting is a congregational dinner (with Mediterranean food from SAJJ) in the Social Hall. To honor Bruce, who is CEO of LifeMoves, an organization serving homeless individuals and families, we are collecting school supplies to donate to Haven Family House, a Menlo Park location of LifeMoves. This project is coordinated through BAJY (Beth Am Junior Youth), who has organized the collection. (See below for a list of suggested items.)

You should receive the Annual Meeting notification in the mail in late March. It includes biographical sketches of the newly nominated board members, as well as the registration form for the dinner. Attending the Annual Meeting is a great way to get to know the community and our leadership.

Following the meeting, all are invited to a festive dinner; cost is $18 per adult, $10 per child. DEADLINE EXTENDED! Please register for the dinner by Thursday, April 11 using the online form (member login required) or the downloadable printable form (return to Beth Am with payment).
