Jewish Film Series Presents Baba Joon
Crowned best film of the year by the Israeli Academy of Film and Television, Baba Joon tells a universal story of intergenerational tension, set in a family of Persian Jews in Israel. Yitzhak runs the family turkey farm and expects his 13-year-old son, Moti, to continue the business after him. But Moti's passion is tinkering with old cars. His devoted mother, Sarah, tries to mediate between her husband and son. The arrival of Darius, the uncle from America, brings matters to a head.
