Update: Friday, January 7, 2022

Dear friends,

As we monitor the COVID situation, we plan to continue offering most of our programming in a hybrid fashion so that everyone can participate in a way that feels most comfortable.

For anyone coming to the Beth Am campus, full vaccination, including a booster (if eligible), is required. For 12-to-15-year-olds who just became eligible for the booster, the additional booster requirement will not start until February 1.

When coming to Beth Am, we ask that you wear a high-quality mask (N95 or KN95) or be double masked with at least one being a surgical mask. Please remember to bring proof of vaccination each time you attend in person.

We have made a few additional changes to keep our community safe:

  • All in-person Youth Education classes have been cancelled for the first week back (Sunday, January 9 and Wednesday, January 12). On-line classes will continue.
  • Any event that includes food will be moved outdoors (e.g., kiddush luncheons). There will be no food allowed at indoor events, since everyone needs to remain masked.

Our clergy will also wear masks except when leading worship. They are undergoing testing each week before services.

What you can do to support our Beth Am community: Please stay home if you have any symptoms. Please maintain appropriate social distance when at the synagogue, especially from our clergy and staff. Since we are dealing with absences due to COVID, and some staff are electing to work remotely during this time, we appreciate your patience. You can visit the  COVID response page on our website for more information.

Thank you for your continued participation and partnership.
