Equal Start: Direct Interaction Opportunities

There are wonderful opportunities for individuals (such as working directly in early learning classrooms or in “story-time” reading programs at local community centers), or for small groups of two or three people to play leading roles in implementing creative, meaningful projects. The Equal Start team has organized a variety of programs including running book drives, sponsoring teacher training classes and creating community education programs focused on early learning. These programs need dedicated members with organizational and leadership skills to organize and run projects from start to finish. As you review and explore these projects, consider how your efforts can make a dramatic difference in the lives of our community’s children. For more information, please contact EqualStart_Direct_Interaction@betham.org. We will connect you with someone who can provide more information and answer any questions you may have.
