Exploring Reform Judaism in Israel: Beth Am Welcomes Anna Kislanski of IMPJ

6:00 PM - 8:30 PMBeit KehillahAnna Kislanski has served as CEO of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) since September 2021, leading Israel’s growing liberal Jewish movement through one of the most complex and consequential periods in its history.
A seasoned leader in Jewish education, organizational strategy, and community development, Anna previously served as IMPJ’s Deputy Director General (2010–2021), overseeing congregational and educational initiatives that helped expand the Reform presence in Israel from 23 to 54 communities. Earlier in her career, Anna served as the Reform Movement’s Central Shlicha to the URJ (2005–2009), where she was recognized by The Jewish Agency for Israel as its top professional emissary. She also held leadership roles with MELITZ, the Tel Aviv–Los Angeles Partnership, and Congregation Or Hadash in Haifa.
Anna holds degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and Educational Counseling. She lives in Even Yehuda with her husband Arthur and their three children, where they are founding members of Kehillat HaShachar.
