Jewish New Year arrives early this year, at sunset on Labor Day, September 6. This book offers readings and exercises that may help us to spiritually prepare for the Days of Awe — or not. Either way, join us for what promises to be a lively discussion.

Rabbi Lew (1943-2009), was a Bay Area activist and creator of Jewish meditation practices, who described himself as a “Zen rabbi.” This book includes Jewish and Buddhist perspectives, as well as Lew’s own personal experiences. Please join us whether you have read the book or not — there will be excerpts to review and contemplate.
