When a beloved member of the family is approaching death, all go through a process that can be lengthy and difficult, with many issues to address. While every person's journey is unique, certain questions arise for most families. When do we start hospice? How do we learn what our loved one wants without upsetting her or him? Do we have the rabbi come?
We invite congregants to share their own journeys through this painful, but often illuminating experience. Learning how others have dealt with these issues gives us perspective and perhaps a wider range of options. Most importantly, these stories reveal that we are not alone:
