Are You Registered to Vote?

If not, register during the 14th Annual Beth Am Voter Registration Drive

With a government elected by its citizens that affects every aspect of our lives from schools to health care to homeland security, voting is an important right in our society. By voting, you are making your voice heard and registering your opinion on how you think the government should operate.

Make sure you are eligible to vote in this next election. You can register to vote in California if you are:

  • At least 18 years old by Election Day
  • A U.S. Citizen
  • A California resident
  • Not currently imprisoned or on parole for a felony (more information for individuals with criminal convictions or detained in jail or prison)
  • Not found mentally incompetent by court action

Remember, you can't vote unless you're registered. Be sure to register by Monday, October 24! You can register through Beth Am’s non-partisan voter registration drive:

  • Erev Shabbat Services: 6:15 PM on Fridays, September 8 and 15
  • Shabbat Morning Torah Study Sessions: 9:00 AM on Saturdays, September 9 and September 16

Or, register online.
