A Jewish Community Forum
The current political environment has profound implications for the policy priorities of our Bay Area Jewish community. In its role as a community convener and champion of democratic values, JCRC – in partnership with the Jewish Community Federation & Endowment Fund and Jewish Community High School of the Bay – is bringing together community leaders, policy experts, political pollsters, academics and journalists for a full-day of education and training. This Jewish Community Forum is intended to provide community members with an opportunity to learn effective strategies for advocacy and the powers of government in our participatory democracy. Attendees will leave empowered with the information, ideas and training needed to engage in civic affairs at the federal, state and municipal levels.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in panel conversations and trainings that focus on Jewish security at home and abroad and/or advancing a just society. In addition, there will be an opening session, a keynote address and a closing session available to all attendees.
- Speak out on issues!
- Speak up when faced with discrimination!
- Be an ambassador for our Jewish community!
