Poltava Shabbat Dinners in Member Homes
These dinners have been postoned.

In the new year, this is a great time to take stock of all that we have and all that we are grateful for. One way to do this is to participate in Beth Am Women's Count Your Blessings fundraiser, which is now live online. Contributions enable Beth Am Women to support programming and events for Beth Am Women, our congregation and beyond. Please support Beth Am Women by making your contribution online or download, print complete and return the Count Your Blessings form.

Help Beth Am Thrive

March Fund in Focus: Phyllis Koch Music and Art Fund

Named for a beloved early member of Congregation Beth Am and a lover of the arts, the Phyllis Koch Music and Art Fund celebrates her and enriches our community by supporting musical and other cultural programming at Beth Am.

From Strength to Strength

The From Strength to Strength campaign team is proud to announce more than $7M in commitments so far, and we thank all our early donors who have invested in the success of this visionary effort! Next, we will invite the entire Beth Am community to participate in this once-a-decade opportunity to be a part of something special.

Legacy Giving

Are you a philanthropist? Yes, you are! Legacy gifts are those, such as arranging a gift in your will or naming Beth Am as a partial beneficiary of a retirement account, which you have pre-arranged to go to Beth Am after your death.

Social Justice

April Tzedakah Box:
Beth Am's Social Action Emergency Fund

Our Tzedakah Box collections during this time of pandemic will be devoted to Beth Am's Social Action Emergency Relief Fund. This fund, established to provide crucial assistance during times of natural disaster, will be devoted to helping members of our congregation who are experiencing several financial distress due to the impact of COVID-19.

Worship

Clergy Column by Cantor Jaime Shpall:
True Loving Kindness – Chesed Shel Emet
Each morning when a Jew wakes and gets out of bed she recites a list of blessings known as the Nisim B’chol Yom, (everyday miracles). These blessings help us bring our attention to everyday occurrences that we often take for granted and call them miracles.
