March Tzedakah Box

Beth Am's March Tzedakah Box supports The Israel Affordable Housing Center (IAHC). Established in 2014, IAHC works to develop new tools and advance policies that make it possible for medium and low-income households to secure adequate and affordable housing in thriving communities throughout Israel. IAHC's work responds to a deep housing crisis in Israel that overwhelmingly impacts low-income and elderly citizens of Israel.

Israel's housing prices have skyrocketed in the past 10 years, creating a deep economic divide and forcing many longtime residents out of their homes. IAHC's work is focused on research, policy and implementation of creative tools to expand affordable units throughout Israel. The Center is part of the Faculty of Law of Tel Aviv University and conducts work throughout Israel.
