May 2021 Fund in Focus: Beit R'fuah
Beit R’fuah (House of Healing) is Beth Am’s support group for those coping with mental health issues and the family and friends who help and sustain them. We are proud to be celebrating 15 years of commitment to addressing the alienation, stigma and ravages of mental illness in the Jewish community. We have seen hopelessness turn to hopefulness, stigma turn to personal power, chaos become strength, alienation become connection — one family at a time. But now, many who struggle to find well-being are suffering even more as the global pandemic and its impact continues. Please consider a donation today, so that many who otherwise might suffer in silence can get the loving support they need.
To learn more about Beit R’fuah, please view our new short film.
If you or a loved one is struggling and would like to participate in Beit R’fuah, please contact mentalhealth@betham.org.
