Beth Am Welcomes New Youth Advisor Molly Roston
We are thrilled to announce that we have hired Molly Roston to become our Youth Advisor! Molly grew up at Beth Am and was an active member of Beth Am Temple Youth (BATY) herself (along with her sisters, Rachel and Chelsea).
For the past year, Molly has been working closely with our teens as a B'nei Mitzvah tutor. She has gotten to know many of our teens already by running the Beit Midrash B'nei Mitzvah preparation program, and she will continue to work in that role next year. Molly is known for her warm, caring personality and for being able to relate well to teens. She is eager to work with the incoming BATY board, engaging our middle and high school students in Jewish life at Beth Am and in the larger community through participation in youth group and other activities.
Molly has a degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University and is interested in pursuing graduate studies in the future. At Beth Am, she will report to Sarah Lauing, Director of Learning and Educational Innovation.
We know that you join in welcoming Molly to the Beth Am team in this new role. There will be several opportunities to meet her over the summer, such as at Camp Shabbat on August 23.
If you’d like to reach out to congratulate and welcome Molly, she can be reached at email@example.com.
