November/December 2021 Fund in Focus: Hunger and Homelessness Fund

Supporting Local Organizations

Local organizations providing food and shelter are facing a high demand for services from the increasing number of people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially as unemployment benefits run out for some.  Your contribution helps the Beth Am community fulfill our sacred obligation to comfort and support the less fortunate in our midst. Donations to our Hunger & Homelessness Fund get distributed to the following organizations serving the needy in our local community:

  •  Jewish Family and Children’s Services
  • Ecumenical Hunger Program
  • LifeMoves
  • Home & Hope
  • Community Services Agency
  • Second Harvest Food Bank
  • Habitat for Humanity

Consider a gift to Beth Am's Hunger & Homelessness Fund in celebration and gratitude for your family simcha or to honor a loved one. You can make your donation online or by mailing a check made payable to “Congregation Beth Am” to the Administrative Office as follows:

Congregation Beth Am
Attn: Fund in Focus — Hunger & Homelessness Fund
26790 Arastradero Road
Los Altos Hills, CA 94022

Funds like this keep our Beth Am programs going, so we encourage you to consider donating to the fund of your choice on your next special occasion.
If you would like information about how to create your own named fund, please visit betham.org/GIVE or contact Director of Development Mandy Eisner, (650) 493-4661, ext. 211. We welcome your donation to this and other important funds that provide resources for our congregation.
