Celebrate Simchat Torah!
On this festive night, Jews around the world complete the reading of the Torah and begin anew with the first words of Genesis. Join the Beth Am community for a high-energy musical celebration, accompanied by Beth Am musicians. This event is for kids and grown-ups. We will continue the beloved Beth Am tradition of unrolling an entire Torah scroll around the Sanctuary as we celebrate the Torah reading cycle.
Begin the evening by gathering with the Beth Am community for arts and crafts as well as one last dinner in the sukkah (we'll have pizza) or by bringing a picnic dinner for your family to enjoy outside (weather permitting; otherwise, in the Social Hall). Why not invite another family to join you? We’ll provide pizza and salad.
While families enjoy a pizza dinner and celebration in the sukkah, adults are invited to participate in adult study and Tisch with Rabbi Janet Marder and Rabbi Sarah Weissman in the Conference Room. Pizza will be provided. Remember to bring your tallitot!
