Shemini Atzeret Festival / Yizkor Service and Brunch

Led by Rabbi Janet Marder and Cantor Jaime Shpall

On Shemini Atzeret, the concluding day of the festival of Sukkot, it is customary to recite yizkor (memorial prayers) in remembrance of our loved ones. The service includes Hallel (chanted psalms of praise) as well as Yizkor prayers of remembrance, and our clergy will read aloud the names of all those lost to our Beth Am family in the last year.

Everyone is welcome to share this special time of remembrance, which is followed by brunch and good conversation. If you have names of loved ones to be read aloud, please call the Beth Am office at (650) 493-4661.

Please visit the High Holy Day page for more information about High Holy Days 5780.
