Fund in Focus: Rabbi Akselrad Lecture Series Fund

Rabbi Sidney Akselrad (z”l) would have turned 100 this month (June 2021)! He was a beloved leader of the Beth Am community who stood up for what he believed in: justice, human rights and ethical behavior. His leadership inspired (and continues to inspire) our members to think, to act and to take steps to make the world a better place. The Rabbi Akselrad Lecture Series Fund honors our beloved rabbi’s memory by supporting inspiring lectures by leaders of social justice and human relations.
