Chanukah, also known as "The Festival of Lights,” commemorates the triumph of light over darkness, the possibility of unlikely victories, and the fundamental value of hope that lies at the core of Jewish tradition. Today, the holiday reminds Jews to rededicate themselves to bring light into the darkest corners of our world and to remain proud of their Jewish heritage.   6th–8th graders are invited to light up the night with laughter, games, and holiday fun! Join us for a Chanukah-themed movie night! We’ll cozy up with popcorn, treats, and a favorite film full of holiday spirit. But that’s just the beginning... REGISTER

• 7:30 PM | Beit Kehillah: The Orchard: Ugly Sweater Chanukah Shabbat Dinner
  Get ready to bring the cozy and the quirky — it’s Ugly Sweater Chanukah Shabbat! Join other adults in their 20s and 30s for a festive evening filled with laughter, community, and holiday spirit. REGISTER

• 6:00 PM | Offsite: BATY Limos and Latkes
  Join fellow Beth Am teens for a progressive Chanukah dinner! We'll ride in style on a PARTY BUS, stopping at the homes of generous BATY members to enjoy some fried food dinner courses! REGISTER

Friday, December 19: 5th Night ♦♦♦♦♦

• NEW! 5:15 PM | Social Hall: Beth Am's Chanukah Party (for all ages)
  Before our Chanukah Erev Shabbat service, join for a festive Chanukah celebration, complete with latkes and sufganiyot! REGISTER
• 6:15 PM | Sanctuary: Erev Shabbat Chanukah Service
  Bring your own chanukiyah and four candles as we celebrate the third night of Chanukah together during our Erev Shabbat service.
• 7:30 PM | Social Hall: Chanukah Oneg Shabbat
  Following the Erev Shabbat service, the Chanukah celebration continues!

Saturday, December 20: 6th Night ♦♦♦♦♦♦

• 7:00 PM | Beit Kehillah: The Orchard: Chanukah White Elephant Havdalah
  Celebrate Chanukah with laughter and light at our White Elephant Havdalah! Join other adults in their 20s and 30s for a cozy evening of surprise gifts. REGISTER

Monday, December 22: 8th Night ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦

• 7:30 PM | Conference Room: Beth Am Women Rosh Chodesh: Tevet
  Usher in the new month of Tevet and celebrate the eight night of Chanukah with friends new and old, with a Chanukah party (please bring your own chanukiyah and candles). REGISTER
