Supporting Tzedek Receipient Learning Home Volunteers

Beth Am Women (BAW) invites all women in our congregation to join in person to honor BAW volunteers and board members! (Beth Am social distancing protocols will be observed.)

This year, we are supporting Learning Home Volunteers (LHV), whose mission is to ensure that low-income children in San Mateo County (ages 2 to 5) get an equal start when they begin kindergarten. LVH empowers parents with training in play-based learning, equips them with engaging books and open-ended learning materials (that are delivered to the home) and connects them to support staff, external resources and other families, all working to achieve the same goal.

Learning Home Volunteers CEO Victoria Shoemaker will speak about the LHV programs, and one of their clients will talk about the impact LHV has had on their family.

There is no charge to attend this event! You can make a voluntary donation to LHV programs when you register. ***Registration is required by Sunday, August 22 using the form below.***Attendees will receive individual snacks. Water and wine will be provided. Masks are welcome and encouraged.
