Beth Am Women (BAW) invites all women in our congregation to join for spirits and hors d'oeuvres as we honor our BAW volunteers and board members. Join Beth Am Women in supporting tzedek recipient Hebrew Free Loan Association of San Francisco. In addition, Beth Am Women will have the opportunity to welcome Rabbi Shoshana Nambi to our community!
The speaker will be Cindy Rogoway, Executive Director of Hebrew Free Loan of San Francisco. Cindy has worked for the organization for 21 years, and in 2014, she became their Executive Director, the first woman to assume this role since the agency was founded in 1897. Cindy will be joined at our program by a couple of clients who have benefited from the assistance of Hebrew Free Loan.
Hebrew Free Loan provides interest-free loans to help Jewish individuals in Northern California overcome financial challenges and pursue life dreams. Loans are provided for a variety of needs: student, business, debt consolidation, first-home purchase, health care, fertility, etc. To learn more about the nonprofit ahead of our program, check out their website at www.hflasf.org.
