Jewish Baby Network and Honeymoon Israel* Present a Virtual Jewish Prep Workshop

Getting ready for a birth? Know someone who is? Join Jewish Baby Network and Honeymoon Israel for our Birth Preparation Workshop!

New and expectant parents will have an opportunity to learn about rituals during pregnancy, labor and delivery, choosing a Hebrew name, circumcision/bris, naming and welcoming ceremonies, Jewish perspectives on parenting and more. Beth Am's own Rabbi Jon Prosnit will be teaching part of the program.

Included will be information about how the current pandemic may affect your birth and welcoming ceremony experiences. Please tell your friends who are expecting!

This class will be co-taught by JBN Director Carol Booth, MAEd, JBN Manager and doula Jennifer Altman, Sherith Israel Executive Director Gordon Gladstone, Congregation Beth Am Rabbi Jonathan Prosnit, and Monica Kuniyoshi.

This free virtual workshop will be via Zoom. Registration required by November 8, 2020. This is a free event, but please consider a $36 dollar donation to support our programs!

The Jewish Birth Workshop is only offered twice a year, so sign up now! Everyone is welcome, including unaffiliated, single- and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled and LGBTQ families.
