Learn How to Make A Classic Ashkenazi Holiday Dish - Kasha Varnishkes

10:00 AM - 12:00 PMZoom VideoconferenceNancy will teach participants how to make kasha varnishkes, the ultimate comfort food that goes well with brisket, chicken or fish. If you'd like to cook along with Nancy, you’ll need:
- 1/2 lb bow tie pasta /farfalle
- 3/4 c buckwheat groats
- chicken fat or olive oil
- 1 egg
- 2 onions - chopped
- bouillon for cooking the kasha (you can also use plain water)
- mushrooms (optional)
You will also need a large frying pan with a cover.
