Interested in responding to anti-Israel comments in print, on social media or in person? Want to have intelligent conversations about Israel with family and friends? This engaging five-part Zoom course will provide you with an overview of the history of Israel that will help you understand the modern-day Israel/Palestinian conflict in addition to the complex history of Jewish and Arab connections to the land.
To understand the modern-day Israel/Arab conflict, one must understand the history of both Jewish and Arab connection to the land. Diving deep into Jewish history, our speaker, Charlotte Korchak, will cover Jewish “indigeneity,” historical presence in the land, and the roots of Zionism. She will also trace the rule of Judea/Palestine post-exile, the Islamic conquest, the Arab/Muslim connection to the land and the evolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Whether you are 13 or 120, this is a must-attend course!
