Dayenu Circle presents David Arfin, a renewable energy pioneer, policy thought leader and former Board President of Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School. David will be leading a discussion on how to build a sustainable community from the ground up.
David has developed novel financial solutions and structures to significantly speed the adoption of clean energy. As an executive at SolarCity, he’s credited as the inventor of the solar lease, used to fund extensive solar adoption. Arfin has served as an entrepreneur and advisor for solar and sustainable energy projects around the world, including the US, Europe, Israel, India and Latin America, and has advised the US Department of Energy.
David will be discussing his current experience as CEO of Nine Dot Energy, providing clean, distributed, community-scale energy solutions to neighborhoods in New York City.
