Erev Shabbat Service: Youth Ed Teacher Appreciation

Friday, May 20, 2022 19 Iyar 5782

6:15 PM - 7:30 PMSanctuary*; betham.org/streaming

Congregation Beth Am is blessed to have an incredible staff of dedicated teachers. Our teachers work each week to instill a love of Judaism in our students; a love that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Please come honor our teachers as we invite them to receive a special blessing.

The Beth Am community gathers each Friday night at 6:15 PM to welcome Shabbat. Our worship services are musical, participatory and informal in spirit; they focus on helping us experience the spiritual renewal, peace, joy and sense of celebration that Shabbat can bring.

If you attend virtually, please join at betham.org/streaming or on our YouTube channel or on the Beth Am Facebook page, starting at 6:15 PM. If you miss the 6:15 PM livestream (or a later time works better for you), a simulated broadcast of the service will repeat at 8:00 PM on betham.org/streaming. You may follow along in our texts for the Erev (evening) Shabbat service using the online version of the Mishkan T'filah: A Reform Siddur.

To enhance your enjoyment of Shabbat, please visit betham.org/shabbatcorner (including "Social Stories" in the Resource Box to prepare children ahead of time for what to expect during the Shabbat service).

*Vaccinations are required to attend in-person programming. Please bring proof of vaccination with you each time. Following Santa Clara County, masks are recommended but not required (except for our youth education programs, where indoor masking is required).
