Erev Shabbat Service With Guest Speaker Dr. Lisa Miller

Friday, October 29, 2021 23 Cheshvan 5782

6:15 PM - 7:30 PMSanctuary*; betham.org/streaming

During our Erev Shabbat service, guest speaker, "New York Times"-bestselling author and award-winning researcher Dr. Lisa Miller will discuss the neuroscience of spirituality, and how she and her colleagues have discovered that an awakened brain is a universal capacity that leads to greater health, resilience, and fulfillment in life. Learn more about Dr. Miller.

The Beth Am community gathers each Friday night at 6:15 PM to welcome Shabbat. Our worship services are musical, participatory and informal in spirit; they focus on helping us experience the spiritual renewal, peace, joy and sense of celebration that Shabbat can bring.

If you attend virtually, please join at betham.org/streaming or on our YouTube channel or on the Beth Am Facebook page, starting at 6:15 PM. If you miss the 6:15 PM livestream (or a later time works better for you), a simulated broadcast of the service will repeat at 8:00 PM on betham.org/streaming. You may follow along in our texts for the Erev (evening) Shabbat service using the online version of the Mishkan T'filah: A Reform Siddur.

To enhance your enjoyment of Shabbat, please visit betham.org/shabbatcorner (including "Social Stories" in the Resource Box to prepare children ahead of time for what to expect during the Shabbat service).

*Vaccinations are required (please bring proof each time) for all those eligible, and masks are required (for everyone over 2) indoors and outdoors.
This service will be live video streamed. By entering the Sanctuary, you give Beth Am permission to record you.
