1) Considering Senior Living?
Led by Rabbi Sarah Weissman along with Nicole Lance, JD, CSA, Family/Elder Mediator

Is it time for you or someone in your family to look at moving into a senior residence? What are the questions to ask? Is it difficult to discuss the need feasibility issues? Can we have productive family conversations?and emotional issues? How do we have productive family conversations about this sensitive decision? Where do we turn if we do not have family nearby? Nicole will help you to zero in on what is important to you, get on the same page with family or support team, and determine next steps.
2) Aging In Place
With Laura Sigura, MSW, Jewish Family and Child Services Care Manager, and Rabbi Heath Watenmaker

What if moving into a senior residence is not desired or not financially possible? How can we plan proactively for unforeseen needs? What do we need to learn about resources in our community? How do we discuss this openly and kindly within circles of family or close friends?
