7:00 PM - 8:15 PMZoomWith Anya Kamenetz, Author and NRP Education Correspondent
Join for a conversation with author and education correspondent Anya Kamenetz, based on her book, The Stolen Year, How Covid Changed Children’s Lives and Where We Go from Here.
When Covid struck, why was the United States so unique and spectacular at failing its children? Through anecdotes and research, Ms. Kamenetz discusses the devastating effects the pandemic had on America’s youth, from mental illness and academic setbacks to fractured family relationships, and offers insight into what happened, how we felt about it, what it meant and what comes next.
