12:00 PM - 1:30 PMZoom VideoconferenceThis Month's Topic: Lighten Up! Philosophy of Humor
Don't miss the second annual special Chanukah edition of the Philosophy Minyan, in which we will once again explore the philosophy of Jewish humor. All are invited to join us as we share some of our favorite jokes and enjoy a few laughs along with our latkes. From the Talmud to Mel Brooks, czarist Russia and Yiddishkeit, we will discuss the universality and particularity of what Jews find funny, as well as the risks of taking Jewish humor into the public domain.
Join in this lunchtime series that explores topics at the intersection of philosophy, Jewish thought and contemporary issues. This is an interactive lunchtime discussion. All are welcome. For more information, please contact Shelley Hebert.
