Remember what it was like to greet people in the Beth Am Foyer on the way into the Sanctuary for Shabbat services? Since our services went exclusively virtual, streamed online, does it feel as if some of that connection to people has been missing in your life? If so, considering joining your Beth Am community in The Foyer (virtually, of course).
Come see old friends and get caught up, or meet new people also tuning in to the virtual Erev Shabbat services. Wishing others a Shabbat Shalom is part of the experience that many of us have been missing.
The Foyer meets both before and after our Erev Shabbat services:
Before Services: Each week we will open up a Zoom connection from 5:45 to 6:15 PM. Then, as we hear the opening strains of Hinei Mah Tov, we will say the blessing over the candles together and proceed to tune in to the streaming service: at betham.org/streaming, on Facebook Live or on YouTube.
After Services: Immediately following the streamed service and hamotzi — blessing over the challah — we will open a Zoom room (use the same link used before the service) for about 30 minutes to meet and greet each other, to check in and perhaps discuss the sermon. Bring your own challah if you wish.
If you don't see the Zoom access information below. please log in to your Beth Am ShulCloud account.
