Rally for Peace
Saturday, March 9, 2024 • 29 Adar I 5784
3:00 PM - 4:00 PMRedwood City, Courthouse SquareThe divisiveness that has ruled since October 7 has broken down dialogue in our communities. A community of peace activists has aligned across the country, with Israelis, Jews, Palestinians and Arabs all seeking a third way — a new narrative that can unite us all. We call this “Rally for Peace."
Join to amplify the voices of grassroots movements in Israel and Palestine working towards ending the occupation, and re-imagining a future of justice, equality, liberation and peace. The call is for: Bilateral ceasefire now. Full hostage deal now. Humanitarian relief now. Diplomacy now. Safety and security for all! This event is organized by Israeli peace activists in the Bay Area. All are welcome.
Please do NOT bring any signs or flags. For questions, contact sfbaypeace@gmail.com. For updates, join the quiet WhatsApp group.
One of our speakers will be Jeremy Ben-Ami, the President and Founder of J Street who has just led a Delegation of Members of Congress to Israel and the West Bank, and has a lot to share!
There will also be an opportunity to hear Jeremy ben Ami speaking on “Finding Hope in Dark Times” at Peninsula Temple Beth El in San Mateo on Saturday night, March 9 at 7:00 PM. Register here.
We hope you can make one or both events!
